Wet Pipe Sprinkler System
Wet Pipe Sprinkler System
Fast Response, Maximum Safety
Wet pipe sprinkler systems are among the most common and reliable fire suppression systems used worldwide. In this configuration, the piping network is constantly filled with pressurized water, ready to discharge immediately upon fire detection.
When a fire starts, the sprinkler heads automatically activate due to heat, releasing water directly onto the affected area — ensuring that the fire is controlled in its earliest stage.
System Advantages
-
Instant Response: Water is discharged immediately when the sprinkler activates.
-
Simple and Reliable Design: Operates mechanically, minimizing electronic failure risks.
-
Low Maintenance Requirement: Easier to maintain and test compared to other systems.
-
Wide Range of Applications: Ideal for shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, office towers, and residential buildings.
Application Limitations
Wet pipe systems are not suitable for environments exposed to freezing temperatures, as the water inside the pipes may freeze and render the system inoperative. For such conditions, dry pipe or pre-action sprinkler systems are recommended alternatives.
